Mike and Joe @ SURU In store signing + Limited Edition Xander

If you're in the Los Angeles area between the 20th and the 23rd of November, here's a cool event for you to consider heading to!

Mike and Joe will be doing a signing at SURU to kick off the launch of Mike's Xander DC shoe, which was redesigned by SURU. Looks like there will be a pre-sale of 500 pair on SURU's site until November 19th. The release and signing will be on November 20 at SURU at 7:00pm; then the limited edition shoe will go on public sale on November 23.

It will definitely be worth checking out, if not for the signing then just to get the shoes!

Best World Stage Performance; MTV EMAs

Taken from the Mike Shinoda Clan:

"Linkin Park just won the MTV European Music Award for 'Best World Stage Performance'! Congratulations to all the guys! Unfortunately, they lost 'Best Rock' to Green Day. But one is better than nothing, right? The guys couldn't attend the show but Mike and Chester sent a cute little video from Mike's home studio. I hope someone has recorded it because i can't remember what they said to save my life! Damn you, excitement! Congrats again to the guys! :)"

Congratulations, guys!

Donate $1 In Your Name to Music For Relief (@MusicForRelief)

Airwalk.com is donating up to $10,000 to charity and they are letting YOU choose where each dollar is donated. Click here and tell Airwalk to donate $1 in your name to Music for Relief then tell a friend. This costs you nothing and will help MFR continue to support disaster relief and reduce global warming.

It's a really easy process. All you have to do is click "You Click (Airwalk Donates)," enter your name and email address, choose Music for Relief, and then click submit. By doing this, you are helping disaster victims around the world without a cent from your pocket.

Thank you for your support!

November: National #Epilepsy Awareness Month

While this has nothing to do with Mike, I wanted to put this out here for everyone to take notice.

November is National Epilepsy Awareness month. Whether you know it or not, you are probably in some sort of contact with someone who has been diagnosed with and suffers from epilepsy. Epilepsy is just as prevalent as breast cancer and takes more lives every year. To support the epilepsy fight, we will be changing our Twitter background to the beautiful purple ribbon. We will display it here as well for you all to take and display anywhere you find worth showing it.

And we thank you for your undying support. Courtney, we love you.

Music for Relief Pictures

Music for Relief and Tree People planted 30 trees to reforest Stetson Ranch Park in Sylmar, CA on October 17, 2009! Check out these awesome photos of Mike, Anna, and the group from the planting!

Don't forget to donate your $5 to Habitat GLA to support the building of green, environmentally friendly homes in the Greater Los Angeles area. You can also donate $5 on your mobile bill by texting MFR to 90999.

Also, you can still grab your Mike Shinoda Glorious Excess Raffle Tickets for a chance to be one of the 144 people that win prizes, including a trip to a 2010 Linkin Park show and a meet and greet backstage with the band! It's only $10 for 5 raffle tickets and all proceeds go directly to Music for Relief to help disaster victims around the world. Hurry, though! The entry deadline is November 11, 2009 at 11:00AM Eastern Standard Time, so you only have a few days left! So get raffling!

New Divide; Fuse Best Video of 2009

"New Divide" has been nominated for the Best Video of 2009 on FuseTV. The guys made it to round two this week and it looks like they're going to make it up to round three. They'll need your help, though! They've got some tough competition with Paramore and Green Day coming up fast!

Vote here and make sure the guys win it this year!
